RamForce Propulsion System
The Avro RamForce engine is a proprietary propulsion system developed to enable high-speed aerospace flight with simplified mechanical architecture and high operational reliability.
The RamForce engine operates without rotating turbomachinery and contains no moving parts within the propulsion core. This architecture significantly reduces mechanical complexity, improves durability, and enhances operational resilience compared to conventional turbine-based propulsion systems.
The engine is designed to produce controlled thrust across a wide flight envelope, including from static conditions through sustained high-speed flight.

The engine has undergone extensive design refinement and subsystem validation. Current development activities are focused on scaling the propulsion system for integration into flight test vehicles. Initial flight validation will occur as part of Avro’s staged aerospace vehicle development programs.
